Our Values
Everything we do is rooted in these main values:
- Honesty and Integrity
- Attention to Detail and Injury Prevention
- Patience and Perseverance
Our History
Unlike other well-known runners who make money from programs for the masses, Carley offers an individualized approach based on her own experience running marathons & personal training. She constantly researches the latest resources, sorting through accurate intel & misleading trends for her client’s benefit. Carley uses each client’s unique preferences and experiences, including health, injury, and exercise history, to personally design their training program. She will modify training to streamline the process and not waste valuable time. Most importantly, Carley provides ongoing daily support & encouragement to keep her clients motivated while being safe & having fun. Injury prevention, achieving goals & crossing the finish line are her top priorities for every client!
Our Goals:
- Injury Prevention
- Finish the Race, walk, or run
- Achieve a PR
- Design an individualized training program based on your needs and desires
- Hold you accountable for training and achieving short-term goals along the way
- Have fun while doing one of the hardest things you’ve ever done!
Reasons for training:
- On my “bucket list”
- I need/want to lose weight and get in shape
- For my physical and/or mental health
- To finish 1st marathon
- Previously injured while training or running
- To achieve a personal record (PR)
- Run with a friend, family member, etc.
- Part of a vacation or a “destination” marathon
- To celebrate a milestone or birthday
- In memoriam
- To raise money or represent a specific charity
Mission Statement
Via education and wellness, there is much opportunity for positively affecting the lives of others. My motivation is altruistic, desiring to make a difference to the best of my ability. Mine is a fulfilling profession, whereby one is able to witness changes for the better. People improve not only physically but mentally. Seeing someone gain self-confidence and self-esteem through an improved lifestyle and exercise makes me happy. These changes in individuals also benefit those around them.
Regarding marathons, when one achieves a new PR, finishes a marathon, or loses weight, happiness results from daily effort in exercise and diet, plus learning new behavior that lasts a lifetime. If I can be an instrument in helping others feel better about themselves, I have done my job as a fitness professional, consultant and cheerleader. This is what makes me happy: cooperating with others and using teamwork to achieve what was once thought to be impossible. Breaking down walls and barriers to growth is paramount.
